Sportcrafters OverDrive Trike Trainer
Similar to the Mag Trike Trainer, this OverDrive Trike Trainer provides resistance (proportional to speed) that is more challenging at the higher speeds. The technology allows for an almost road like feel while training and is recommended for more experienced riders looking for higher resistance. It is quieter than any traditional fan resistance trainer on the market. As the drum spins about the magnets built in to the rear roller, they create resistance through eddy currents. This provides just the right amount of resistance for training indoors while reading a good book or watching your favorite TV show!
- Works great for single rear wheel trikes (or bikes with the use of our Fork Stand) and requires no clamping on the rear skewer
- Accommodates 20" and larger wheels
- Two 3.25” heavy-duty, lathe-turned aluminum drums allow you to use your stock tires to train.
- Mag resistance is invisible, ultimately reliable and nearly noiseless (yes, you will hear the drive train of your bike or trike)
- High-tech design using eddy currents (so you can baffle your friends when you place a paper clip on an aluminum drum and it sticks!)
- Lifetime lubricated and sealed radial ball bearings
