This unique double ended clamp holds two 7/8in (22.2mm) tubes together. Since it's open ended, you don't have to slide the clamp on from the ends of the tubes. All you have to do is open the clamp and put it on. The clamp is only 1/2in (12.7mm) thick, so all you need is a 1/2in open spot where it can attach. It will attach any reasonably straight metal tubes. If the tubes are too curved, the clamp will be stressed and the tube may be dented. Since the clamp grips so tightly, we don't recommend using it on Carbon Fiber tubes.

You can use this clamp anywhere you'd like to hold two 7/8in tubes parallel to each other. For example, you could use it to hold a 7/8in accessory bar tube out in front of a 7/8in handlebar on your above seat steering bike. The tube center to tube center distance is 2.0in (50.8mm).

While this clamp is very strong and grips really well, we do not recommend using it where steering control passes through this clamp. It will work great for it's intended purpose of holding accessories, but it's not in designed to ensure the level of control that steering requires.
